A year in with no double clicking at all

Bought when the first Ace started double clicking and this one has done a year and a bit without a hint of it, which I put down to the optical switches. The things that have kept it on the desk are dull and important: the sensor has never lost tracking, the charge lasts long enough that I plug it in on a schedule rather than a warning, and the shape has not gone slippery where the fingers sit. It also swaps between the dongle and Bluetooth for the laptop without a fuss!

The two tone shell is smarter in person than in the photographs, and more to the point the white half does not seem to pick up marks the way white mice usually do. Weight is where it wins. Under fifty grams with no holes drilled in it, so there is nothing to catch dust and nothing that flexes when you squeeze. One star off for the side buttons though, which are mounted a touch high, and I catch the front one with the knuckle when lifting the mouse in a hurry.
