The crossfader is the best I have ever had my hands on

Battle mixer in the proper sense, and the crossfader cut is tight enough for scratching without any adjustment out of the box. It maps to Serato the moment it is plugged in, which is the whole reason for buying a Rane rather than something cheaper. Ten months in and no dust in the faders yet though, which for a mixer that lives in a bag is better than I expected. The knobs feel like they will outlast me!
