One 4TB drive and no easy way to add a second
Three stars from somebody who likes the machine and resents the layout. The single drive is generous enough, but both remaining M.2 slots sit under the radiator and the two SATA bays are behind the pump bracket, so adding storage means taking half the cooling apart. On a case this size that is a design choice I cannot explain.

Performance is not in question at all
Case fans and pump are on separate controls that fight each other
Three stars for a machine that runs beautifully and is a nuisance to configure. The pump sits on the board headers, the case fans on a hub with its own utility, and getting the two to agree on a curve took an evening of trial and error.
Used for: Less than a month
Off a laptop that throttled to nothing after twenty minutes, and this is the opposite in every way. It sits at the same speed all evening, the desk stays cool, and there is no fan noise to talk over. One mark off for the amount of software that came preinstalled, which took an evening to clear before the machine felt like mine!
Used for: 1–3 months
Silent at idle and close to it under load
The lighting software has to be reinstalled after updates
Lovely machine let down by its own utility. Every major Windows update seems to wipe the lighting profile and the software has to go back on. Two months in it has happened twice, which is more often than I would like for something so trivial

Looks better in person than in the photographs
Took it out of the box, put it on the desk and just stared at it for a bit. Then it turned out to be quick as well!

Everything at the top settings, immediately
It weighs an absolute ton
Got it up the stairs with help and it has not moved since. Straight into the games I had been putting off, everything on maximum at 1440p ultrawide, and the frame counter has not been below 120 yet!

Cooling performance is in a different league
No operating system, and one of the fan cables was pinched
Two things to flag before the praise. There is no operating system on it, which the listing does say but is easy to miss, and one of the front fan cables had been trapped under the radiator bracket hard enough to score the sleeving. Freeing it took five minutes but it should not have left the bench like that. The cooling itself is remarkable. The card sits at 54 under a load that had my last machine at 80 with the fans howling, and the room no longer heats up over an evening.

Temperatures identical to the day it arrived
Draining the loop for a component swap is a whole evening
The worry with any factory loop is what it looks like after a couple of summers, and on that count I have nothing to complain about. 18 months on, the coolant is still clear, the fittings are dry, and the processor still settles at the same 58 it did on day one. The cost is flexibility. Changing the card meant draining, refilling and bleeding, and that is not a thirty minute job.

A pump whine that comes and goes and cannot be tuned out
Three stars, and it is one specific noise rather than anything else. At certain pump speeds there is a high pitched note that sits above everything, and unlike a fan you cannot simply slow it down without giving up flow. Most of the time it is inaudible, which makes it worse, because you stop expecting it and then it appears halfway through an evening. Mounting foam under the machine helped a little and moving it off the desk helped more, but neither is a fix. Everything else is genuinely excellent. Four months in the temperatures are superb, the build quality is beyond argument, and it has never once misbehaved. If the pump were silent this would be five stars without hesitation.

Bought it expecting to grow into it and I have not found the edge of it yet, which is either reassuring or a sign I overspent

The loop is a proper piece of work
The reservoir needs topping up once the air works its way out
Unboxing this was the first time a computer has made me stop and look at it. Distribution block down the side, coolant a deep blue behind the glass, every tube cut to the millimetre and not a cable in sight. What nobody mentions about a factory loop is that it settles. Air trapped in the block worked its way to the reservoir over the first fortnight and the level dropped by a good centimetre, which had me convinced something was wrong until I read up on it. Topping it up meant tipping the whole machine, which at this weight is not a job you do casually. On everything else it is faultless. It holds 4K at maximum without the fans lifting above a murmur and the processor has not been above 60 since it arrived.
